Krittika The star cluster Kṛttikā (Sanskrit: कृत्तिका, pronounced [kɽɪttɪkaː], popularly transliterated Krittika), corresponds to the open star cluster called Pleiades in western astronomy; it is one of the clusters which makes up the constellation Taurus.
