Dharma

In Mahabharata, Dharma is presented in two forms: (1) personified as a Deva and (2) a concept.
Dharma as a Deva

Mahabharata provides the following details of Dharma as a Deva:

  1. Was a son of Brahma, born from his chest.
  2. Married 10 (Kirti, Lakshmi, Dhriti, Medha, Pushti, Shraddha, Kriya, Buddhi, Lajja, and Mati) of the 50 daughters of Daksha, and obtained 8 Vasus (Dhara, Dhruva, Soma, Aha, Anila, Anala, Pratyusha and Prabhasa) as children in them [Adi Parva, Chapter 60, Verses 13-14, 16-17].
  3. Was a father to Nara and Narayana (in Krita/Satya Yuga)
  4. Was born as Vidura due to a curse by Animandavya (Dvapara Yuga)
  5. Was the father of Yudhishthira (Dvapara Yuga)
  6. Tested Yudhishthira three times (Dvapara Yuga)
